Sarah J. Fischer, CPA

Professional Experience

Sarah joined DWC’s Grand Junction office in 2001, working in both audit and tax. In her 20+ years in public accounting, Sarah has acquired specialized skills in family-owned business and business tax planning, ACA rules and compensation/fringe benefit planning, and financial planning and consulting services for small business owners, families, and high net-worth individuals. She serves clients in several industries, including dealerships, manufacturing, professional services, and medical practices.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Sarah actively contributes to the knowledge-sharing community. She frequently authors guest articles for The Business Times and DWC’s blog, addressing individual and business-related topics. Furthermore, Sarah assumes the role of a presenter for various industry organizations, delivering insights on tax issues and keeping them abreast of the latest updates that impact their respective sectors.

When not helping clients with their tax and accounting matters, Sarah can be found at a baseball field cheering on her two sons, spending time with family and friends, or in the mountains camping, fly fishing, paddle boarding, or snowboarding.
