The Montrose Rotary Club has committed $20,000 for 2015 to help area youth through its “The Year of the Healthy Child” initiative. The Club is funding community grants for local groups and organizations that provide physical health, mental health, recreational, or educational services to local youth. One of the recent mini-grants awarded went to Johnson Elementary for a reading and writing curriculum. For more information about this program, contact montroserotarygrants@gmail.com.
