Applicants must register for the SBA application portal and can do so starting on Friday, April 30th at 9:00 am (EST). The applications will open on Monday, May 3rd at noon (EST).

While all eligible applications will be accepted starting May 3rd, the first 21 days of the program funding will be prioritized to small businesses whose ownership has at least 51 percent owned by women, veterans, or are socially or economically disadvantaged.

SBA has developed a comprehensive webpage to help applicants prepare, including a sample application and guide, calculations, and other information to help initiate the process.

In addition, the National Restaurant Association has developed a 90-second update video and Restaurants Act has developed an FAQ sheet for additional insights and information.

The RRF program is expected to receive a great deal of applications, so we recommend those who are eligible and wanting to apply for funding to not wait to register on the portal or submit an application.
